APPLE SPECIAL DELIVERY SOFTWARE
Software
catalog.
Apple At that time, in addition to the product line of Apple's original software
such as Apple Pascal, Apple Plot, Apple Writer, etc., Apple also called
"Apple Special Delivery Software" was on sale at Apple’s sales channel as
an outside programmer's excellent software from the viewpoint of
programmer development.
In this catalog, 12 titles of such
software are introduced, and an order form is attached so that it can be
purchased by mail order.
|
APPLE SPECIAL DELIVERY SOFTWARE
The same software catalog as above.
The software
has increased from 12 titles as of November 1980 to 26 titles, and the
appearance of the catalog is also a very luxurious one that uses a lot of
photographs in full color.
If a programmer
created a software with manual and send it to Apple's "Special Delivery
Software’s Software Evaluation Group", excellent programs seem to have
been placed on this sales channel.
There were
1,500 dealers in the catalog at that time around the world, and if users
wanted to get the software, they had been able to order these dealers.

Apple product general catalog
Japanese catalog.
The edition of March 81.
Toray System Equipment Sales Department Trade
Section is noted on the back cover.
Apple's
hardware and software are introduced mainly with Apple IIJ Plus and it is
a very valuable resource to know the situation of Apple products at that
time in Japan.
On the back
cover, along with the Toray's notation, the rubber stamp of Tsukumo
electric shop No.7 was pressed, and I seem to have obtained this catalog
at that time in Akihabara.
Although it has
been kept for many years, at that time I opened a hole to file without
noticing its value.
Recently I obtained the above
mentioned "
Apple In Depth Fall /
Winter 1980 " brochure,
understood that this was based on it.

APPLE AT A GLANCE (82/8)
The August 82 edition of the
above-mentioned “Apple at a Glance” catalog.
On the cover,
Apple III which dropped its reputation from the fall in 1980 to 81 was
appeared once again.
On the two-page spread page, Apple
II Plus + Monitor III and Apple III friendly line up.
80 At this time, the standard monitor
seems to be Monitor III with black and white resolution of 80 characters x
24 lines.
It is rather a configuration targeting business users, and many introduced
software includes small business accounting system and business graphics.
Language Language
also includes Pascal, Logo, Fortran, CIS Cobol and so on.
The IBM PC
appeared on August 12, 1981, and this catalog can also see the sense of
competition against IBM that will steadily increase market share in the
business field.
At the
preface of this brochure, it is introduced that Apple Computer users are
over 400,000 users.
Since Apple IIe
is announced in November of 82, it may be the last one as a catalog that
introduced Apple II Plus.

APPLE SERVICE AND SUPPORT/
Both are small size handy catalogs of
95mm × 215mm.
It seems to be a lot of handy
catalog of this kind.
The
introduction of service and support on the left.
On the right is introduction of
Apple’s product line, IIe and III are introduced in a row.
Both catalogs are sophisticated and
pleasant.
Especially the
illustration of
Service and Support is excellent. Personal Computer System, published in November, 82.

THE APPLE II EDUCATION SYSTEM/ A small handy catalog of 95mm × 215mm. The introduction of the Education System is on the left. In 82 years. It is appealed the performance of Apple II for school teachers. Hardware is Apple II Plus. The photo of the front cover is a 9-inch monochrome monitor made by Sanyo, but in the photogravure on two facing pages, a color monitor made by Panasonic is appearing on small photo. I wonder if this monitor was used a lot in the United States. The catalog on the right is an introduction of the Apple IIe Starter System made in November, 82. A combination of Apple IIe + Apple III Monitor and various kind of software is introduced. Apple IIe released in January 1983, but in November 1982, three types of catalogs, Apple IIe Personal Computer System, Apple Personal Computer System and IIe Starter System, were also created, it was seen that IIe was strongly focused on sales before release. |
INSURE YOUR APPLE/ The left is a catalog of insurance. It guarantees up to $ 5000 in $ 25 / year, up to $ 25000 in $ 50 / year. It does not cover problems caused by computers, such as loss due to bugs in software, covering US $ 100 or more due to breakdown or breakdown of hardware and software. Published in June, 82. Right is the joining of International Apple Core. You can subscribe to 6 Apple Orchard Magazines with US $ 15 in the US and US $ 40 overseas. Published October, 82. At that time, International Apple Core seems to have been operated by Apple Computer, and this catalog also has document Part # of 030-0482 printed. |
