Bell & Howell AppleII Plus-2

BH DISK II

Disk Drive also has a matching design painted with black color and a nameplate of B & H logo. Disk II Since Disk II was released in June 1978, it is no wonder that a dedicated drive is prepared from the beginning, but there is a high possibility that it was announced at the same time as the latter model. There are three drives in my house now, the first one was received from Mr. Sckop (Izumi) lived in Niigata prefecture, I came back it carefully to Tokyo from Niigata. B&HI was taught the existence of B & H system from Mr.Sckop. Every time I visit Izumi’s house in Niigata Shirane City, I could understand his wonderful knowledge and insight of his Apple collections.

BH MANUAL

The uppers are manuals B & H Apple II Plus (early term model).  The bottoms are those of Apple II Plus. From left: Reference Manual, The Applesoft Tutorial, and BASIC Programming Reference Manual. B&H B & H Apple II manuals are not mentioned Applesoft BASIC but Floating Point BASIC, but the contents are the same. B&H The note of "The material within this booklet has been reprinted with the permission of Apple Computer Inc." is printed on the back cover page. In the latter half of the 1970s, Apple might have chosen Bell & Howell that held history and know-how as a partner to enter the education market at eastern district of US.

MONITOR II (SANYO 9inch MONITOR)

The left photo is Sanyo made 9 inch monochrome monitor, APPLEII PLUS, Disk Drive combination. AppleII As Apple's original genuine monitor, Apple's initial catalog is called Monitor II. Apple's model number is A2M0005. This Sanyo monitor fits perfectly when it is placed on top of Apple II, so it was used by many users who did not need color. It is a venerable monitor that appears in the 10th anniversary commemorative book “So Far” and numerous Apple brochures.
